Brandy General Manager and Stylist. Graduated from Cape Fear Community College at the top of her class. Brandy's motto is keep hair simple, healthy, and absolutely Gorgeous! She has had on going education with Kerastase, Bumble & bumble, and Schwarzkopf. Brandy has a knack for creating elegant up-do styles for all, from the Naturalist Bride to the Sassy Teen. She is known for her natural ethnic hair styles. Brandy also loves to express her artistic side with Creative and Dimensional Color. Brandy has been with Groove Jet since 2005 initially in administration and then as a Stylist. She moved here from Annapolis, Maryland in 2004. Her easy going, patient style is seen in all aspects of her work.
Caitlin Color Specialist/Stylist. In 2005, Caitlin graduated with honors from The Aveda Institute in New York City. She has continued her education with Bumble and Bumble, Kerastase, Loreal Professional, and Shu Uemura, specializing in Balayage (a gorgeous highlighting technique) and custom color. Christopher Assistant Manager, Event Coordinator and Customer Service Chief Extraordinaire. Christopher's relaxing attitude comes through in every guest's experience at Groove Jet. He has always enjoyed working in "people environments" and has a real enthusiasm for the industry. Christopher's focus to detail makes him an expert in merchandising and creating all the "Take Home" opportunities for our salon and spa guests. Jaime Marketing Director and Stylist. Jaime has a deep rooted belief that a person has more than one "best look" and that this should be re-evaluated at many points in their life to keep things fresh and from feeling dated. Loads of NY experience, this self professed "style obsessed", fashion forward stylist always has her finger on the pulse of what's happening next. It's impossible not to leave her chair feeling instantly updated. Color is the punctuation for the perfect cut and her knowledge and experience shine through. Melissa Esthetician. Skin care has been a interest of Melissa's for most of her life and as an avid traveler she has introduced different cultural mechanics into her services. Melissa has formally practiced and studied esthetics for the past four years and is trained in Dermalogica and Glow Minerals makeup. Treating skin and performing facials are her specialty and her facial massages have been know to put most into a light doze or trance. She is proficient in chemical peels, micodermabrasion, aromatherapy and make-up application. And she has an uncanny ability of contour face waxing, designing the perfect brow. From years of waxing experience, Melissa has mastered a repertoire that keeps her clients coming back -- some say she has the magic touch.
